Each year, however, they seem to go by in a flash.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This year, I am determined to savor the summery bits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This means spending time with the sliding door open.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This means walks out doors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This means making things like lemonade.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This limeade was inspired by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shutterbean.com\/2012\/cilantro-limeade\/\">cilantro limeade<\/a> that looked quite refreshing. However, when I went to the store, the cilantro looked as if it had seen better days&#8230;days ago. The mint, however, was looking quite fresh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/025.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1925\" title=\"025\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/025.jpg?resize=480%2C360&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/025.jpg?resize=300%2C224&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/025.jpg?w=1500&amp;ssl=1 1500w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/025.jpg?w=2250&amp;ssl=1 2250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">When I went home with the mint, I hadn&#8217;t intended to include strawberries, but they were there just looking at me, all red and luscious wanting to be consumed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">So basically, I juiced some limes, made a simple syrup and steeped strawberries and mint in it, and mixed away!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Summer, I&#8217;m waiting!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The warmer parts of the year are my favorite.
