I really do need to subscribe.<\/p>\n<p>The September BA though inspired me. I have a gazillion, okay 13, sticky note strips so that I can easily find the dishes I want to try. I have to say that mine seems way greener than theirs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-214 aligncenter\" title=\"flatbread\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/flatbread.jpg?resize=300%2C225&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/flatbread.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/mnt\/local\/home\/sherlonya\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/flatbread.jpg?w=1500&amp;ssl=1 1500w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/mnt\/local\/home\/sherlonya\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/flatbread.jpg?w=2250&amp;ssl=1 2250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dinner this evening was the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bonappetit.com\/magazine\/2009\/09\/spiced_pear_flatbreads_with_goat_cheese_and_mustard_cream\" target=\"_blank\">Spiced Pear Flatbreads with Goat Cheese and Mustard Sauce<\/a> though, due to some ingredient restrictions, I had to change this one a bit. I had to use red pears instead of bartletts. I omitted the aleppo pepper because I didn&#8217;t have any. The blue cheese, I&#8217;m pretty sure, came from cow milk, not goat milk. The mustard sauce was prepared as instructed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/lemon-ice-cream-on-chocolate-cake.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-215 aligncenter\" title=\"lemon-ice-cream-on-chocolate-cake\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/lemon-ice-cream-on-chocolate-cake.jpg?resize=300%2C225&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/lemon-ice-cream-on-chocolate-cake.jpg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/mnt\/local\/home\/sherlonya\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/lemon-ice-cream-on-chocolate-cake.jpg?w=1500&amp;ssl=1 1500w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/mnt\/local\/home\/sherlonya\/sherlonya.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/08\/lemon-ice-cream-on-chocolate-cake.jpg?w=2250&amp;ssl=1 2250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And, I made the lemon ice cream which was rich and inviting and very, very lemony.
