This includes government. With the events of last month, that&#8217;s no surprise.<\/p>\n<p>I was surprised, though, to learn that a few months ago a president-related historic site was in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.change.org\/petitions\/keep-polk-open-save-the-president-james-k-polk-birthplace-in-nc\">danger of being closed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nchistoricsites.org\/polk\/\">James K. Polk birthplace site<\/a> in North Carolina is the site I&#8217;m talking about. Folks realized that this would have been a loss for all those who otherwise could have had a hands on look at history. They organized and petitioned and succeeded. Line a standard-size muffin pan with cupcake liners. Place the chopped chocolate and cocoa powder in a medium bowl. Pour the hot coffee over the mixture and whisk until smooth. Refrigerate mixture for 20 minutes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"1\">Meanwhile, whisk together the flour, sugar, cinnamon, cayenne, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl; set aside.<\/li>\n<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"2\">Whisk the oil, eggs, vinegar and vanilla extract into the cooled chocolate mixture until smooth. Add the flour mixture and whisk until smooth.<\/li>\n<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"3\">Fill the muffin pan cups until liners are about 2\/3 full. Bake until the cupcakes are set and just firm to the touch, 17 to 19 minutes. Cool the cupcakes in the pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then remove the cupcakes from the pan and place on the wire rack to cool completely.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n<div class=\"blog-yumprint-method-section\" yumprintsection=\"4\">\n<div class=\"blog-yumprint-subheader\">For the frosting<\/div>\n<ol class=\"blog-yumprint-methods\" itemprop=\"recipeInstructions\">\n<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"0\">In a bowl combine the butter, powdered sugar and cinnamon. Beat until blended.<\/li>\n<li class=\"blog-yumprint-method-item\" yumprintitem=\"1\">Add the milk and vanilla extract.
