This Blood Orange Loaf Cake<\/a> is so pretty that it looks like cutting into it might be a challenge. I bet though that if you’re face-to-face with it, the cake’s aroma helps you hop right over that hurdle.<\/p>\n

Making a bunch of President-themed cupcakes<\/a> doesn’t just make my obsession<\/s> intense interest in the presidents happy. It makes me more aware of flavor combinations out in the world. For example, because of my James K. Polk cupcake<\/a> which features cinnamon and cayenne in the chocolate cake, I perked right up when I saw this Mexican Chocolate Spice Mix<\/a>. Hmmm….I wonder what I could do with that.<\/p>\n

I should not click on anything that says S’More Crack Dip<\/a>, and not just because when foods are called “crack” anything it bothers me. Sure, maybe that’s being over-thinky, but that stuff devastates! Devastation isn’t cute and funny. Okay, I’m done. I am a sucker for s’mores anything though.<\/p>\n

I’ve been drinking a lot of smoothies, but I don’t know if I’m brave enough to add turmeric. This Sunshine Smoothie with Coconut, Clementine and Turmeric<\/a> sounds pretty tempting though. Might I walk on the wild side?<\/p>\n

Speaking of smoothies, there’s one that I know that I need to try. It’s a Healthy Nutella Smoothie<\/a>. I was skeptical when I saw the title. However, the nutella flavor in the smoothie comes not from the sweet spread, but from actual hazelnuts and cocoa powder. <\/p>\n
