One of my goals this past year was to buy a house for me and my son.<\/p>\n

I did this, and have chosen Ypsilanti as our home.<\/p>\n

I’ve lived in Ypsilanti for several years, yet, I surprise myself by being far more interested in the area having bought a home there,<\/p>\n

One of the things that I want to do in the coming year is walk down every street in my neighborhood.<\/p>\n

Also, I consider 2 miles squarely within walking distance, and want to walk to a number of places when weather is permitting. Alex seems to like this for the time being and has expressed excitement about riding his bike around here in the spring.<\/p>\n

I’m grateful for living in a place where this is a reasonable thing to do, and I anticipate lots of local exploration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
