\nSomeone recently asked me about my 2016.<\/p>\n

In the pause between processing the question and clumsily sputtering forth an answer, I realized that I have no idea what happened to 2016.<\/p>\n

This realization is what led me to 2017’s word: savor.<\/p>\n

I want to pay attention this year, and experience it fully. Of course, I’m thinking about enjoying the good times, but I also want to simply be more present through the difficult ones.<\/p>\n

My son has just entered his teenage years. There’s something about that fact that has highlighted time’s passage for me. This goal, is in part to help me do what I need to do in order to be sure to enjoy the time I have with him.<\/p>\n
