Who said anything about last minute?
I am one of those people who puts candy canes on the christmas tree. I so strongly associate this mint with the holidays. So this year, I decided to look around for some peppermint inspired DIY gifts.
Shutterbean’s Cookies and Cream Peppermint Bark makes me drool if I think about it. I love the cookies in the bark, and I love that she gave me an excuse to buy some of the Trader Joe candy cane sandwich cookies.
Who wouldn’t want peppermint marshmallows in hot chocolate. Wait, I confess that I know one person who wouldn’t. But if the people on your list don’t mind your chocolate mingling with your mint, then this might be the thing for you.
I wish I made popcorn more than I did. However, it’s probably a good thing that I don’t make it more often. Usually when I am popping popcorn, it means that something about the day has made me lose the will to eat a proper meal. White Chocolate Peppermint Popcorn, however is something different. It’s special. It’s festive!
Peppermint Sugar Scrub sounds so tasty, but it’s probably better not eaten. When I finished a batch and tried the leftovers, I am happy to say that I successfully restrained myself from licking my hand.
I made this Candy Cane Vodka and took it to a party. It was a hit! It’s too easy to make not to give away.
Why stop there when you can also whip up some peppermint cocoa?
