I was looking around here and there and was reminded, mid-May of the “Every Day in May” thing that folks do to encourage themselves to post (or create or do something) every day in the month.
I thought to myself, “Man! I missed it!” Then, I thought that I could do it for the rest of the month. On Facebook, I am always talking about my various culinary exploits, and that is what I could talk about here. Besides, blogging more was on my list of things to do in this before I turn 30. So, here goes.
So what culinary adventures do I have planned for today? Rhubarb ice cream. At this point, I am just waiting for the ice cream maker canister to get cold enough.
What else? I am planning to make cupcakes. A variation of the cupcakes with chocolate frosting from the latest Everyday Food magazine. Actually, they are in the oven right now. I will be using homemade rhubarb jam inside the cupcakes and use a lemon frosting.
