Stress happens.
Yep.
And for me stress means some serious weight-fluctuation. Nobody likes weight fluctuation!
About a month ago, I started listening to a podcast called Dishing Up Nutrition. They said a number of things that made me think about some of my own habits, and some of the things I’ve fallen prey to in the past. I decided to try to put into action some of the tips that the hosts were sharing in the podcast, and I found that I felt better throughout the day.
I like better.
Then, on a whim, I bought a Fitbit Ultra. Additionally, when I was straightening up at home, I kept coming across things that I had acquired over the years during various fitness/health, I don’t know the right word, bursts?
Finally, when I wrote my birthday goals this year, some of them were written to get me back into some of the better habits that I had once upon a time. There are diet and exercise-related goals there.
So, when you blend the above, it only made sense to do this little side gig, where I give this year over to establishing and maintaining better habits. Let the games begin!
