I love the idea of headbands more than I actually wear them. That explains why I was immediately attracted to this headband pattern.

I may have let out some strange, inappropriate-for-public-consumption noise when I saw a picture of these candied kumquats. Must make those this year!!

The feeling that I had inside when I saw this  Pomegranate, Persimmon, and Pistachio Wild Rice Salad was probably improper. It could also have been the writer in me swooning for that illiteration.

At this time of year, I often find myself thinking that I should make caramels. While I am somewhat adventurous in the kitchen, that’s where I’ve been unable to cross the line. That doesn’t stop me from perusing recipes. If I make caramels, maybe I’ll make apple cider caramels. Gingerbread caramels also sound delightful.

I love the word shenanigans.  I came across Tiffany  Han’s site a while ago by chance, you know, clicking around. There’s something about her point of view that I really love. She sums her bottom line up like this, “I want creative people to have more fun. Every single day. ” That is something I can totally get behind. Every single day.

This history nerd in me lives this digital history resource. I could lose hours in there!

I am so fascinated about those articles that talk about how social media makes us less happy and causes FOMO (fear of missing out) among us. The most recent one I read was about Instagram envy.  I don’t feel that way. I like it. I find it inspiring. Maybe it’s a personality thing. Before social media, I regularly wrote down snippets of conversation that I heard.
