2014. I’m going to go ahead and call it a good year.
There are lots of things that were easier this year than they have been for several years and, let me tell you, I am stone cold grateful for every inch of that.
I’ve been lucky enough to travel this year.
Alex and I took a road trip with some friends.
We went to Nashville with GP.
We went to Niagara Falls and Buffalo, New York. We visited the Andy Warhol museum in Pittsburgh. We went to Washington D. C. and toured the White House, went to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and a number of other attractions.
We went to Philadelphia and Hyde Park, New York.
I took a work-related trip to Baltimore.
I bottled some beer.
I made some clothes.
I started a new website.
I worked on a book proposal.
I regularly wore tights. I also have the strangest story about tights-related story that I’m just not going to tell here. The highlight of the story is that even after all of these years, sometimes I stumble into a pit built from my own naivetĂ©.
I wrote over 115 Open Letters.
I did some scrapbooking.
I took a bunch of pictures.
But, most importantly, I think that I did a better job this year enjoying and appreciating this life. It is on that note that I enter 2015.
I wish you a wonderful 2015.
